Great Writers!

This collaborative writing project will give you a chance to write an acrostic poem about the 6 traits of writing.

Think of as many characteristics as you can about each of the traits.  Each group will add to your ideas!

* Meet your deadline!

* All members of your group must participate in contributing to the story ideas.

* Each person(s) in your group must have a responsibility:

        - Group facilitator (keep the group on task!)

        - typists

        - editors

 How to begin:

1. Your group will write an Acrostic poem to brainstorm as many ideas as you can about your poem trait. Try to use as many letters as you can!

        * 1: Go to the WORD CHOICE Poem.

        * 2: Go to the ORGANIZATION Poem.

        * 3: Go to the CONVENTIONS Poem.

        * 4: Go to the SENTENCY FLUENCY Poem. 

        * 5: Go to the VOICE Poem.

        * 6: Go to the IDEAS and CONTENT Poem.

        * 7: Go to the GREAT WRITERS Poem.    

2. When it is time to go to the next poem, add any ideas that you can. You will have a chance to add to each poem so we can

        all share our ideas!

3. Remember, collaborating creates creative writing!
